The gites benefit from a peaceful location, yet Logis De Tertre is easily found (Directions) and easily accessible by boat / car / plane or rail. We're only 5 minutes off the good but quiet N11 dual carriageway that takes you straight into La Rochelle. Our village of Le Grand Breuil is a few minutes away from the departmental borders of Deux Sevres and Charente Maritime.
A short 3 minute drive from Logis de Tertre you will find our nearest market town, Mauzé sur Le Mignon. A small weekly food market is held there every Wednesday morning, with a much larger market held on the first Wednesday of each month.
A well stocked Intermarché supermarket will provide all your essential groceries and there are other boulangeries, traiteurs and pharmacies in the main street. Several good restaurants can be found in the nearby villages of Usseau, Surgères and La Laigne.
Hypermarkets, shops, bistros and restaurants can be found in abundance 30 minutes away either at La Rochelle or Niort.
